I'm in the same boat as you (I posted my question on Rennlist), the front ball cup failed on me yesterday. Luckily, the trans was in 3rd gear and I managed to get home.

Apparently, 928srus is the only company that sells the "Lizard" short shift kit. I called today and left a message asking about price. That will determine whether I get the kit or fight with tight spaces underneath and try to replace it with a stock part.
