i got my first bird with a shotgun EVER, this morning. i shot a nice little ruffed grouse. i am gonna eat him this evening. i am stoked! i might go back out, tomorrow. we'll see. i think i hiked about 5 miles, at altitude, in brush and steep terrain. i also watched a guy shoot dead a LARGE bull moose, up close and personal. i have pictures of the moose. what an animal. we have so many this year, i cannot believe it.
