Paul, my friend is a bit bigger than me and we're rubbing shoulders riding. that seat is maybe 45" wide. had to lower the seat 3 inches so I didn't have to cock my head over to see out the windshield and keep my head off the roof. it's going to be nice this year. put on some sidepipes to keep me from dying from the exhaust fumes while sitting 4-5 hours in traffic, built a tilt windshield to get some air and recovered the seat in vinyl-gator skin for style and comfort. it's almost too nice now..
