Actually broke an O2 sensor wrench today

Hi All,

Yes I am finally getting around to changing my O2 sensor, went to the auto parts store and bought an O2 sensor wrench. I soaked it with WD40 first and let it sit for 30 minutes or so, got the wrench ond...nothing.

A little inventive leverage and additional force resulted in the head of the wrench splitting in two (can't even find the piece that came off).

So what is the solution for a frozen O2 sensor? I hate the idea of blowtorching anything on my car (especially in my garage) so I am definitely stuck (pun intended).

Any ideas or do I admit defeat and bring it to a pro?

Thanks,

GHEN
