Speaking of inspiration, Betty, who you've met and inspired. She would quite literally be the "street" version of your '72 STR. Her creation was inspired by the very same lineage, and slapped onto a '72 due to personal preference, but adapted to daily driving and keeping the car street legal for Canada.

Of course, she doesn't have as many lightweight goodies. But she does have a purrrrring '77 turbo engine reworked for PMO 46mm ;-) Other than my personal decorative "back to period correct STRish" touches, all mechanical brilliance goes to Mark Kinninger of Black Forest / Kinninger Racing.
