I didn't mean that I suspected in any way that yours was built that way.
I was just curious about the ones built without proper motor mounts.
Why would anyone build a rod that way?
For less torque twist of the engine and drivetrain?
Was it a tradition from the old, old, early days of hot rodding that some prefer to just keep doing for sentimental reasons?
