I'm with SunTrust. Been with them for years. Their asset management, think stock brokers, suck. I actually call them idiot experts. Tried to deposit a rather large check into my existing stock account and they couldn't make it happen. Told them no problem, there was a Smith Barney just down the street. Still, SunTrust does pretty darn good with the banking.
I wouldn't touch Wells Fargo. Various reasons but the most recent one is they would not cash a check that was drawn on their customer (business account) and the business was literally across the street. Walking distance. And the check was good.
I have a good local bank but they close on Wednesday afternoons. When I wanted to go to the bank for one reason or another it was always on a Wednesday afternoon. Drove me nuts. I do have our Volunteer Fire Dept there.
