I used to live in Boston and would drive up to New Hampshire to check out the Fall colors.
Take a date up to see the Fall colors in the DB4 when I was in college in the late 70's was a sure hit, I mean score. I do miss that, but not what follows (Winter). Although Winters in New England I hear are not as brutal as when I lived there in the 60's and 70's. My birthday is the end of January and as a little kid my memory was of really brutal cold for months, and feet and feet of snow that lingered for ever.
