Any recommendations for an auto trim shop that can reupholster Recaros? I found a pair of Recaro Sport seats (not Porsche Sport, which my car has) on Craigslist that need reupholstering. I plan on installing them and restoring my factory sport seats for future use. Also, I'm hoping the Recaro's give me some extra head room (I'm 6'8").
I'm in Northwestern NJ, but would prefer to drive to a shop as opposed to shipping them to parts unkown. I know there is a Pelican contributor that does Recaro restorations out of the west coast (and his work looks amazing), but it would be simpler to drive them somewhere for the work.
On a side note, an update to my '85 M491, I pulled the Fuchs off in order to send them to Weidman's for restoration. I found some 17" Oz Mito's here on Pelican (thanks BoxsterRod!) that I put on this past weekend. Today was such a beautiful day I had to take her out for a spin.
