First, that's not a Harley. But that bike is no more qualified for aggressive cornering. More important, neither is the rider. I ride those mountains frequently, although I judiciously avoid the "dragon" because of traffic, etc. Until you gain a bit of experience and respect for switch-backs and insanely tight transitions, it can easily take you by surprise, as was the case here.

I really feel bad for the poor guy in the Vette. He had it fully under control and was enjoying his day when this 800 lb steel projectile decided to take him out.
