Original early SWB look ?

Interesting work you did on the headlights, was considering the same route and found your thread.
I am starting from scratch on a1966 coupe that has the fender metal only.
Unlike you I dont want a customized looki but the authentic early USA look.
So I buy the VW repro for the US (with the clear glass) + original chrome rings + original sealed beams (w fluting)?
Do I need a separate mount to couple the sealed beams to the rear of the assy bucket?
