Ikea has a 3D program which will create a virtual space using their products.
(You don't necessarily have to buy them)
Take in the room measurements and build it virtually. Print it out.

When planning, take heed of the space and movements/usage first.
If the door swings through much of the space, then smaller cabinets should be used.
Small room=small rounded fixtures.

Get some big empty cardboard boxes, place where everything will be, and walk though it. If there are restrictions or pinch-points, then some adjustments in size or location should be made.
Nobody should have to twist and step over things to get out of the shower.

Then decide colors and materials.
