I saw a guy get taken out of line by the popo in Xi'an, PRC a few years ago. Chinese don't usually queue up for anything, but they tend to fall in line for airport security. Two guys (locals) got into it and one of them really wouldn't let it go. I'm pretty sure he missed his flight. I fly int'l. a few times a year and have never once had a problem. Usually they're all business and appreciate folks who behave and have their docs in order. I did get hauled off a train on the Polish-Ukrainian border once, but I think the guards only did that because they had never seen an American before. They had dogs and rifles and were pretty intimidating. But they just liked trying to pronounce our names and wanted to chat while the entire train waited and our luggage was still onboard. On the way back through Brest-Litovsk, Belarus, one of them wanted my watch and that's where I drew the line. Three packs of Winstons bought him off.
