I have the same problem but when I get on the highway it starts blowing warmer air. its not that cold yet so its not that big of a problem but It will get colder soon. My temp is normal so I assume the thermostat is good. I had a BMW that was doing the same and it turned out to be a valve that opened to allow water to the heater core, does the boxter have such a valve?
