Yes it looks like a bad storm, the media is really doing a good job building this to a frenzy.. I saw people almost come to blows at a gas station earlier, supermarket shelves are bare of certain essentials, such as

Salsa

I live pretty close to the water, a canal about 120' from my steps, a series of fresh water lakes, the southern most about 500' from my house, the Atlantic is 4 miles, the nearest inlet to the bays is about 8 miles..
I've taken some of my cars to higher ground, one I wont be able to move
.... my backup generator is fueled up and ready, the pumps in my basement are ready, tomorrow morning I'll pull the burner and controls for my heating system... I have food and water for a few days....
And monitor how things unfold, if it gets hairy. I'll head to my bros who lives at a higher elevation....
Just hate how the media handles these events...
