We are hunkered down here in Jersey City. I just took a spin around the 'hood on my bicycle to have a look at the waterfront during high tide (around 8:30ish this morning). I don't have any photos, but the Hudson river was raging. Took a few photos of the area:
A few shots of the Marina, <2000ft from my home. I keep a 32' sailboat here.
Just beyond the fence here you can see some wood decking...that is the walkway beside the metal tracking for the travel-lift...totally submerged.
Water level about 3 feet above prediction at the battery. Looks like its gotten to 4 feet subsequently. If the surge at next high tide is 6+ above this high tide, the floating docks in my marina may float off of their pilings
