What would posses a captain to sail INTO a hurricane? I know very little about sailing, but hurricanes and storms are best to be avoided. A city is stuck with staying still, a boat can turn around and go the other way.
The Bounty must surely have modern GPS and navagiation equipment and communications. Hurricanes don't sneak up on anyone in this century.
