Sorry to hear about your loss.

I'm hugging both of mine as we speak and looking at my almost 18 year-old healthy Jack Russell female and her 12 year old companion male and feeling very blessed and lucky.

Was in the Southern Yucatan this past week and got a call last night from our house (and dog) sitter that the male had gotten into her vitamin bottle and ingested more than 20 pills. She rushed him to the vet and fortunately all was well after they induced vomiting and gave him a bag of fluids.

We had a very nervous flight home not knowing how he was doing but arrived home to find him resting comfortably. Thank God it was B12 and not something toxic.
