got me thinking. i have other knifes i need to have sheaths made. how hard can it be? fold some leather over, and stitch it up..right? i dont need belt loops or anything.
i dont appear to have a TANDY leather store anywhere near. any tips?

Are you asking where you can get leather? or how to make a sheath?
If you need leather cheap go to a thrift store and buy an old leather jacket or a U-pull-it yard and cut a section from a leather seat. Ewe, horible thought don't use it for your good kitchen knives you might catch something.
