I happen to think a nice 850R is worth keeping, I have had mine for a bit over a year and it is a nearly flawless daily driver. They are cheap to buy, not difficult to maintain, have some of the best seats around, and with a mild tune are more than fun for the daily grind.

Hey, if mine looked like that I'd probably keep it. It doesn't though; it's not a bad car or anything it's just (barely) not the car I want to keep at the moment and I'm likely getting ready to buy the wife a new Mazda 5 (it's what she wants).
So which to sell? The 2005 Prius which is 'presentable' and what I usually drive if I'm going to be taking customers to lunch or the beat up old Volvo?
The Volvo has some big plus sides to it to be honest. It's a solid, reliable car that I can work on and I know if for example the engine were to go I could replace it for under or at a grand and probably do the work myself with some help. The Prius is a crap shoot in this regard BUT it has also been reliable. Both are very easy to maintain.
The biggest thing is which am I more comfortable driving? Unfortunately the answer is the Prius (as much as it pains me).
The value on the prius is higher of course so if I were to use it for a trade in then it would be a better trade in but if I can get $3000 for the Volvo I'll probably be satisfied.
