Synthetic Trans Oil
A mechanic (Richard Danvers) that used to work on the car put the synthetic in when I first got the engine at 62,000 miles. (It's in a 1980 Targa. At the time I had the option to rebuild my existing '80 engine or get the 85 Carerra -- I chose the latter.)
I wast told that once synthetic has been run in a trans, it's not good to put fossil oil in afterwards --- stay with synthetic.
