I did mine solo as well; a little off-topic but I found it less nerve-wracking to lift the car off the motor than drop the motor from the car. I used 3 jacks (had 2, borrowed one), one on each side's jack pad, and a third to help keep the nose of the transmission centered in the tunnel until the rear was high enough to pull the motor straight back and out.

If your motor's up in the air balanced on one jack and it gets wobbly, and you're by yourself, there's little to do but get out of the way...

However you do it, go slow and keep an eye out for anything still connected or that got hung up as you separate the car and motor. Anything you missed or forgot to disconnect will be pretty obvious.
