Four weeks ago, I dropped the engine of '87 Carrera to inspect the clutch disc and disconnected the following:
Delivery fuel line
Return line
Brake booster vacuum hose
Disconnected 3 electrical plugs left side of engine and 4 on top of the egine
Ground wires left side
14-pin connector
Ignition coil cable
Hose behind air box
2 hoses from throttle body going to the right side of engine bay
Square connector behind engine (center left)
CV joint
S-hose
Oil line to aux. thermostat
A/C
transmission linkage (tunnel)
clutch cable
starter cable
transmission ground strap
accelerator linkage
speedometer wire from sensor
sway bar
engine breather hoses
disconnect batter cable
And a few things that I forgot........
