Thanks for the clarification. Yes, Ed sells couplers directly, not through PP. But the thread(s) about Ed's couplers clearly illustrate the value of and enthusiasm for replacing coupler bushings; that's what I was trying to convey.
BTW, the Seine kit spring loads the shifter so it's 'home' in the 3-4 plane and requires additional effort to get to the 1-2 or 5-R planes. Stock shifter only requires additional effort to get to the 5-R plane.
