If non of Irags neighbors feel threatened, the biggest threat to world security is Bush spouting daily "WAR, WAR, WAR". The daily stock market headline is "War hangs over market", and the price of oil heads toward $40. 7 times more people outside the US feel Bush is a bigger threat to world peace than Saddam or N Korea.
As I recall, the start of the Gulf War coincided with a slowdown in the US Economy and never recovered when "stability" was restored and Kuwait was restored. It's why the elder Bush was not re-elected after having 90% approval ratings during the war
