I went to mcmaster website and look up part4463k135 as you mentioned. This tube has an id of 7/8" and for a pipe size 1/2" od, the pipe from my pic measure 1 1/2" od.. I think this will not fit. I think i need a larger insulator.
This is a great idea and much cheaper then sierra madre. Thanks for the advice.
