I knew I needed to replace 3 of my switches so the decisison wasn't too hard for me. They are illuminated, they work every time, and you just have to touch them (not mash Hell out of them).
In retrospect, I actually would have gained more from putting the Hans/Champagne electronic window switch on my '89 because the GTS window controller does a lot of extra stuff that the early models don't, but I'm happy all the same. When the switches start to go bad on my other cars, I'll be changing at that time.
