Battery drain ??
I have a '91 964. After repeated battery discharges, I finally started to trace the problem. I have 5.2 amp (!) load with everything off. I have pulled every fuse and relay and still have the mystery load.
Searching the forums, the climate control fan seems like a possible culprit, but isn't that on a fuse? 5 amps seems pretty high for a little fan. Others have found flaky courtesy light switches, but aren't these fused too?
How do you get the climate control unit out of the dash? I can unlock it and get it out about 4 inches, but the turn signal stem interferes with it coming all the way out.
Any other ideas what may be drawing so much current?
