Cost was $28 for three cans of VHT satin black wheel paint, and a Bondo spray paint gun. Three cans worked, but four would have probably been better. Paint was bought from Autozone.

Prep: Removed wheel weights, and used 3m adhesive remover to remove the sticky stuff left from the wheel weights, and wheel weights past. Used Simple Green, and a red scotch bright pad to clean the rims. Left to dry over night.

Paint: Gave rims a quick wipe down with alcohol. Taped valve stem cap, and tires best I could. No primer, two light coats, and one medium coat, all 10min apart.

VHT has really good instructions on the can. Here's a pic of the can:
