Oh man, my whole family went through that about 9 months ago. The "barfing flu", as we
affectionately refer to it.
Daughter (3 yrs old) was projectile vomiting for 2 days. Typically without any warning whatsoever. That couch is gone now... ...Nothing says "parental love" like interrupting your shower to wash the vomit out of your kid's hair. Twice. Son (6) was puking for about a day then settled down for a cartoon marathon.
Strangely, my wife and I never got quite sick enough to vomit, though there were times I wish I had. Green to the gills, cold sweats, the works...I finally found solace in a blister pack of Bonine.
Hope you feel better. Just think of the awesome ab workout you got!
