There is some stuff. The guys at the builders supplies place will know what it's called. It's like chopped strand fiberglass and it goes into concrete instead of metal reinforcing. That, and a good strong ratio of cement to sand will make it nice and solid.
It does sound fun having a hoist - I'm jealous
