I'm still convinced that for aging Boomers like myself, an R1100S makes better Garage Art than all-day ride. This coming Sunday, I plan on doing a group ride of 380 miles roundtrip thru Ventura, SLO and Kern counties per MapSource route. As much as I'd like to ride the S-bike, I might well end up on the R1150GS - even though its currently advertised for sale. If so, I'll only need to wash it again, take a fresh odometer pic and update my ad.
