Well I had to take the undercovers off and I found the problem; the right hatch pin was kinked probably because I didn't put the hatch pins back in their holder properly before putting it all back together. A little push on the pin and the hatch popped open.

Now I have my stainless steel hatch pins installed (the hatch pin seats arrived today from Pelican)!

One more thing off the list!

Loving this car.
