They don need a lot of air volume. A very small tank is fine for a palm nailer and most finish size trim nailer's.

Large framing nailer's and coil roofing nailer's will need more volume/ tank size because it's a larger air charge that is used with greater frequency.


I have a palm nailer I do not use it very much. They are great for putting Tico nails in hurricane / Simpson straps, very fast, wear ear plugs.

My Senco is pretty loud, I like a light leather work glove as well.
