There is a another thread currently running on this board - 'how honest are we with our wives & Porsche expenses, etc....' I've noticed some have mentioned their wife is "interested", "tolerant", "understanding","supportive." That's great.
But few if any have stated that their wife participates as we 'hobbyists' do. Neither does my wife. She is supportive, understanding, enjoys occasional track days, loves Porsche people in general - but no way could you call it involvement with a hobby, let alone a passion.
Cars are more of a guy thing, usually, like fishing, weight lifting, football, and/or beer guzzlin'. About all my wife does habitually, as far as I know
, is go to the gym - but I know she wouldn't if she didn't feel she had to.
Basically, my wife has no hobbies! I can't imagine her needing such a diversion. Do/can wives have hobbies? Does your's?
