Realistically if you don't have a Social Security Number (SSN) here you are f*cked, and as a spouse of a diplomat I can't get one, so I am f*cked. Life would be so much easier if I had a SSN, things would be much more seamless and smooth.
I thought the French were bureaucratic nuts, but US are on a par.

As a plus for the day, had another lovely sunny day so took Marilyn for a nice drive. Still haven't quite got the 1st to 2nd clutch right yet, but I am getting there.
if I go back tomorrow I am taking the Durango its an auto, got to be easier for a driving test!
As soon as anyone mentions the word test I go into stress mode!!
