Hmm. Looks like SolidWorks might not successfully upgrade tonight. My 1 year of student version expires soon and I was going to upgrade using a disc that SolidWorks provided free for the team, but I think my issues with Windows Update, etc. may have caused it to fail. It sent an error message but I am not sure if it was just a random error and I can go back and finish it.
I bought the student version 2 years ago for $100 and then I got a free year from their first-come-first-served offer last year. This year I would have paid for another disc but I got this other free one.
The full (professional) version is like $20,000 I think, though.
