My brother bought a giant jumpy toy from a party rental place. It sits on a flat in the garage that has wheels on it. Part of it touched the floor and rubbed holes in it from friction when it was moved around. I want to repair the holes but only can find repair suggestions related to inflatable boats.
The fabric on the toy is impregnated with fibers but the exterior feels pretty much like vinyl. The suggestion I liked the best was to use the Oatey PVC cement for shower repair liners and cut up pieces of the shower liner as the repair material. Clean with acetone, apply glue and press on repair swatch and wait for the glue to set. I am assuming the shower liner repair film is flexible enough to deal with inflation/deflation but have not check the material out yet.
Any suggestions? Maybe just a vinyl swimming pool repair material would suffice?
Thanks.
The white label sewed into the unit is about two feet wide to give you perspective.
