Excellent idea. Just found out about the project yesterday afternoon so have made no calls yet.
The repairs made previously were just on small holes and standard vinyl blow up toy repair kits were used. These rips have some girth so would rather bias the repair towards something like the roof bladder or tarp repair material. Suspect the sail repair tape would work well, given what it is engineered to do. It is clear also and would make for a faster fix.
Just need to get out and check the material tomorrow. If a decent thickness were available for the pool repair kits they would be clear or translucent so the patch would not be as obvious. I am more interested in a solid repair though vs. beauty. Kids won't care much. :-)
