I've been doing well for the past couple years, but I have only had a 3.5 average for the quarter three times, let alone a GPA of 3.5!

Ha ha. Sounds like what I went through in college. When I was in high school, grades came by relatively easy for me. Graduated in the top twenty of a class of 820. Then I moved into the honors dorm. Full of freaking geniuses. Scared the crap out of me. Not used to that. But whatever. I used to joke and say I was the most stupid of the geniuses which wasn't that bad.

then I found later that life is heck of a lot more than your GPA.
