I simply find it amusing what people will get hung up on. Don't think the car is worth 68k? The solution is simple...don't buy it. Don't think a 29k mile car can have some scratches under the deck lid? I'm guessing you haven't spent much time putting wrenches on one. Think that no scratches under the deck lid indicates a "good" mechanic? Perhaps, but in reality I am afraid it's much more complicated than that. Should a 68k 930 be absolutely flawless? Perhaps, but again it's more complicated than that. We all know that value can only be determined when cash changes hands between buyer and seller, everything else is pissing in the wind.
All I am saying is I wouldn't dismiss the entire car as a sham just because of some scratches under the deck lid. YMMV.
