yeah, but you gotta keep a razor blade around to do it.
and the blade itself can scratch the frame as well.
notching the slide release is a one time deal, it works like a charm.. and once done it's much easier to get your slide release re-installed, they should simply do that by default on all new slide releases.. it's that good.
