I'm sorry, that pickup mod is fugly and not actually very useful, I don't think a full size push mower would fit in there. The wagon mod looks better, but isn't much more useful other than keeping your cargo safe and dry, it's a compromise either way.
I would be much more inclined to mount a small triler hitch on an intact 944 and tow a 4'x6' utility trailer when more capacity is needed.
