I drove ~20 miles without a sunroof, hatch or rear side windows in the early morning to get my car painted last year...
It was actually pretty fantastic. Surprisingly wasn't actually that loud even on the freeway...had the heater on and was perfectly comfortable despite the giant holes in my car.
Without the ~70lb rear window though the back end does get pretty light, made for some awesome cornering on the way to the paint shop...
