Like the Pitts fans who chimed in above, the Chuck Noll years with Bradshaw, Harris, Bleier, Frenchie & company along with Mean Joe, L.C., Dwight, and Ernie slamming most anything that came their way (and if it got through there was Jack Ham) is what keeps them going during times like these.

What keeps this Steelers fan (who wasn't even born during the Steel Curtain days) has been their success in THIS century as well as the prospect of their success continuing in the near/long term future. Maybe now that the Raiders have new people calling the shots there won't be so many Jamarcus Russell/"trade the draft for Carson Palmer" type mistakes.
