My Dad and mom had one of these as thier first car (together) back in the mid-60s, and I asked Dad if he ever would want another one. He said he would love to drive one again, but in reality, the car was unreliable, cold, too small, too loud, and delicate.
I think all of the problems my Dad mentioned are true, but the visceral experience of a pretty girl in the passenger seat on a sunny, Summer day with a picnic at the lake waiting to happen.........It's worth it !
