look..the subie is fantastic. it goes anywhere. i have been in the backwoods with it. i never got stuck. the suspension could use less truck-like and more WRX-like. i bet some simple mods from the subaru parts catalog would take care of all issues.
mpg..flat out blows. we get an average of 23 mpg. i bet our best was 25 on a road trip. all on superunleaded.
we will try to fix the road noise by changing the door gasket. the car carrys alot. i have loaded the back with firewood, bags of fertilizer..and once my wife put an entire bail of hay back there. |
I have been toying with the idea of a use one for a long time since I drove one a year back. They are dead reliable and fun. have you had any issues with yours? I am not too worry about capacity because I have pick up trucks.
