I know you remember 23 Jan, 1968. The Pueblo was captured by North Korea.

They had standard procedures to flip one switch and instantly tell the White House of the impending capture. The main problem was no one in the military was notified. When the White house called the Pentagon no one knew anything about it. By the time the Air Force & the Navy were told the capture was done.
My dad was stationed on remote TDY in South Korea. We were living in OKC for the supposed year while he was away. After 6 months of being away from us he had been back for two days for his visit with the family when the Pueblo was seized. In the middle of the night the Air Force came to our house and stole my dad for another year. He was supposed to be home for several weeks. We one saw him for a day. Dang Koreans.
