I think my only problems with my 924 in winter is that the cockpit is not getting warm enough to drive far, but the problems could be missing bottom motor shield..
and that the motor can't handle any hitting the gas pedal on first 2 or 3 start ups.. I think that the motor gets too much air and thats why dies... but after the third start I can hit the gas as I like, only minor glitch is that the perhaps 1 cylinder is not starting properly and the car is taking rpms like a two stroke engine about 10 to 15 seconds when pumping the gas pedal.. and then the motor runs correctly.
that cylinder idea is only a guess
