Congratulations! It is a great feeling.
When I was single and in my early 30s I was in deep debt. I vowed to be debt free by 40. I did not make it on my 40th birthday but I was debt free when was still 40. I worked a lot of side jobs. I have only been without a job for four working days since 1972, but I mowed yards for decent money as a kid.
When we bought our current house we did a 15 year note but paid it off in 10 years.
